Minimalistic design objects for conscious consumption

A set of minimalistic glass coffee makers, is the result of the latest collaboration between Italian glass manufacturer Blueside Design and Næssi Studio. Called ‘The Phil’, the collection mimics the aesthetic of glass objects used in laboratories. The inspiration for the sets comes from the idea of transforming an everyday ritual, like coffee making, into a conscious and meditative process. The objects are simple, handcrafted and defined by clean lines. The whole collection is recyclable and sustainably produced with a made-on-demand ordering process to prevent waste. Every object is made out of an extra-clear, 100% borosilicate glass. This material is resistant to thermal shock and promises robustness. The collection ranges from a glass kettle for stove use with a classic kettle silhouette to a glass drip coffee maker with an innovative cylinder system which does not require the use of filters. Additional accessories are a glass powder measuring tool and an elegant decanter.
