During the first months of the global health pandemic we saw nature flourishing again. Being forced to be inside, nature took over. Catalan based designer Eugeni Quitlett started wondering about this new reality and how technology and isolation could influence his creative process. The disoñador, derived from the spanish words designer (diseñador) and dreamer (soñador), is known for his combination of digital precision and flowing curves. During his time in isolution he created the Wild Chair, inspired by the idea of letting an object out in the wild without human intervention. Nature is taking its place back in the world and in designs. The chair only exists in a 3D virtuality, inspired by a new era and letting us think about a cleaner and greener future.
